Noted offers optional AI-powered summaries for users who want weekly reflections on their entries. If you opt into this feature, your entries are processed using the ChatGPT API, which generates the summaries based on your data. While the AI summary request is processed by an external API, we take precautions to ensure that your data is handled securely. Entries are not stored on our servers, and ChatGPT only processes information temporarily to generate responses.
4. Data Security
We prioritize your data security. Noted does not use cloud storage for personal entries, and your journal entries are stored securely on your device. Always ensure your device has the latest security updates, and take care to secure your device with a passcode or other protective measures.

Opting Out of AI Summaries
Users can opt out of AI summaries at any time by disabling the feature within the app settings. This will not affect your ability to use other features of the app.
Deleting Your Data
If you wish to delete your entries, you can manually delete them within the app. Please note that once deleted, your data cannot be restored.
